Installation Guide for Mac OS X Users

The following procedure is for users of Mac OS X 10.4.x.

Follow these steps to install GnuPG on your computer.

1. Click on "1.4.5" of "GNU Privacy Guard" in "Files" section of http://macgpg.sourceforge.net/.
   • It is highly recommended to use "1.4.6" when it is available.
   • A mirror server¹ is selected, and downloading starts.
   • "GnuPG Mac OS X 1.4.5" disk folder appears when the downloading is complete.
2. Double-click on "GnuPG for Mac OS X 1.4.5.mpkg" in the folder.
   • GnuPG will be installed on your computer by following the displayed instructions.
