[logo] Installation Guide for Windows Users

The following procedure is for users of Windows XP, but its basics should also be applicable to users of other Windows platforms such as Windows 2000.

Follow these steps to install GnuPG on your computer.

  1. Click on "FTP" on the right side of "GnuPG 1.4.6 compiled for Microsoft Windows." in "BINARIES" section of http://www.gnupg.org/(en)/download/index.html.
    • Download the file and save it in your desktop.
    • File named "gnupg-w32cli-1.4.6.exe" is created.
  2. Execute the downloaded file.
    • GnuPG will be installed on your computer by following the displayed instructions.
