[logo] Register to MSN Gateway

Follow these 3 steps to register yourself with the MSN gateway.

>>1. Discover services provided by media-art-online.org

  1. Choose "Action" menu -> "Service Discovery..." on the main window.
  2. Choose the login profile to make service discovery from.

The service discovery window will open.

  1. Specify "media-art-online.org" as the domain (if you have been logged into media-art-online.org, it has already been specified).
  2. Double-click on <media-art-online.org> to browse the services.

>>2. Register your MSN passport with msn.media-art-online.org

  1. Select "MSN Transport <msn.media-art-online.org>" when you see it.
  2. Choose "Action" menu -> "Register with Gateway..." on the service discovery window.

The followin window will appear.

Specify items as follows.

[username]
  • Specify the e-mail address (such as xxx@hotmail.com) you use for MSN.
[password]
  • Specify your password for MSN.

Click on "Register" button.

>>3. Share presence with msn.media-art-online.org and MSN friends

  1. Your presence subscription will be requested by msn.media-art-online.org, to which you should subscribe back.
  2. Your presence subscription will be requested by your MSN friends also, to which you should subscribe back.
    • It must be cumbersome if you have many MSN friends, but you need to do it just once1。

You are now ready to chat with your MSN friends.
