Join Group Chats

• >> Join by selecting a conference room from the list

>> Join a group chat

Follow these steps to participate in a group chat.

1. Go to "Member" menu -> "Join Group Chat...".
   • The join-group-chat window appears.
   
2. Enter the following items on the window.

   [Nickname]

   • The alias you intend to use in the conference room.
   • It can be different from the user name of your Jabber ID.

   [Room]

   • The name of the conference room you have agreed with other members of the group.

   [Domain]

   • The name of the domain which provides the conference room.
   • The following domains, for example, provide publicly available conference rooms, which can be selected from "List...".
     • conference.jabber.jp
     • conference.jabber.org.uk
     • conference.jabber.org

   [Room Description]

   • Free description of the conference room.

3. Click on "Join" button.
   • If the nickname is already in use, an error message window appears.

Once you have entered a conference room, it is added to the list on the top of the window. From the next time, you can choose the Jabber ID on the list to fill in the necessary information.

>> Remove a conference room from the list

To remove a conference room from the list, choose the Jabber ID on the list, and click on "Delete..." button.
