Send Messages
You can compile a new message and send it to your friend, or reply to a message
you have received.

- Make a message compilation window appear.
- To do so, select the nickname of the peer to whom you would like
to send a message, and go to "Member" menu -> "New Message...", or
- Right-click1 on
the nickname of the peer in the member list, and select "New Message..."
on the popup menu.
- Enter the following items on the window.
- [To]

- The Jabber ID of the correspondent to whom you would like to send a
message.
- It has already been filled when this window is opened, and you do not
need to alter it.
- [Subject]

- The title of the message.
- [Message area]

- The body of the message.
- You can type in plain text, or use XHTML.
- Click on "Send" button.
- You cannot send a message if the message area is empty.

A message window appears when you receive a message.
Follow these steps to reply to the message.
- Click on "Reply" button.
- A message compilation window appears.
- The subject is set automatically by prepending "Re: " to the subject of
the received message (unless the original subject already has "Re: " at
the top).
- Enter the message body, and click on "Send" button just like you do when
you send a new message.

Right-click is to click on the right-hand-side button of the mouse. Since a Macintosh computer has just one mouse button, there needs to be an alternative; Macintosh users should click while pressing down "control" key.
